Job Description

The Senior UX Designer will be responsible for enhancing existing products in UX design and research, and guiding new and emergent technologies to support the experience design strategy. This involves using best practice user-centred design methodologies to deliver visually appealing designs, through user research, creation of informational artifacts, and workshops.

You will continually research, test markets, and troubleshoot existing and future end-user experience and design, applying these practices to the university's digital channels and experiences. Your goal will be to deliver a range of usable digital, mobile, and hybrid products, applications, and solutions that meet end-user and university needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience as a UX designer in a commercial or educational design and/or development environment;
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and manage delivery of UX activities;
  • Proficiency in the use of design software such as Figma, Optimal Workshop, or other UX-related tools;
  • Experience designing for accessibility and adhering to WCAG 2.1 AA.
