Procurement Expert for Data Center Equipment
The successful candidate will work closely with the procurement team to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of data center equipment.
- Assist in sourcing, negotiating, and awarding contracts for OFCI equipment
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and delivery terms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficient solutions
- Manage and track inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing excess inventory
- Provide expert advice on procurement best practices, regulatory compliance, and risk management
This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be able to balance multiple priorities, work effectively under pressure, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Planning: Develop and execute procurement plans to meet business needs and objectives
- Supplier Management: Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, quality products, and competitive pricing
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to minimize excess stock and optimize stock levels
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficient solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
