About the Role

We are seeking an experienced store person with high reach forklift experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be physically fit and possess a forklift license, as this role will require the successful candidate to stand almost the whole shift with forklift work as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and store incoming products, ensuring items are accurately logged into the inventory system.

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule, including picking, packing, and labeling goods.

• Forklift duties as needed.

• Conduct regular stock checks to maintain accurate inventory records and identify discrepancies, reporting any issues to the management team.

• Organize warehouse space and maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to company policies and regulatory guidelines.

• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner, following proper handling procedures.

• Collaborate with the procurement team to track and manage stock levels, anticipating supply needs and communicating inventory shortages or surplus.

• Assist in the implementation of efficient warehouse processes to optimize workflow and reduce operational costs.

Requirements

• Must have current Forklift License and High Reach experience.

• Proven work experience in a warehouse environment, preferably in a store person or similar role.

• Proficiency in using inventory management software and familiarity with warehouse management systems.

• RF scanning experience.

• Available Monday to Friday.

• High attention to detail.

• Knowledgeable in WHS.

• Team player.

• Physically fit.

• Valid Work Rights.

What We Offer

• $32.21 Per hour + Penalties.

• Temporary assignment with potential on-going.
