Job Title: OSHC Professional

 

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate OSHC professional to join our team. As an experienced educator, you will play a vital role in creating a stimulating and nurturing environment for children in our out-of-school hours care program.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and care for children during OSHC sessions, providing individualized attention and support.
  • Develop and implement engaging activities that promote social, emotional, and educational growth.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment, adhering to relevant regulations and health and safety procedures.
  • Foster effective communication with parents, colleagues, and management through regular updates and reports.
  • Manage accurate records of attendance, incidents, and child development progress.
  • Administer first aid and CPR when necessary.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an OSHC setting.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • A valid Working with Children Check.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of OSHC regulations and standards.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
