
IT Cyber Governance Specialist

Shape the cyber future of your organization by developing and implementing robust cyber governance frameworks and processes. Ensure alignment with IT security and compliance goals, and create documentation to demonstrate adherence to organizational and regulatory policies, standards and best practices.
About the Role:- Create and manage an IT governance framework that follows industry-recognized best practices and meets regulatory compliance standards.
- Oversee and evaluate third-party technology risks and ensure their alignment with security and risk management standards.
- Support and coordinate internal and external audit programs related to technology and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Identify and assess technology-related risks and collaborate with IT and security teams to mitigate them.
- Document and report on governance, risk, and compliance activities and provide insights to senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver training and awareness programs on governance, risk, and compliance requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across your organization to ensure compliance with the IT Governance policy framework.
- Significant experience in IT governance, risk and compliance, with a special focus on managing third-party technology risks.
Solid knowledge of information security concepts and practices, such as risk assessment and assurance.
Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and APRA.
A certification in information security or risk management, such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CISM, or similar will be highly regarded.
