Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing logistics operations, ensuring timely delivery, and collaborating with stakeholders for freight solutions.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage logistics operations, including shipping and expediting, to ensure seamless delivery of goods and services.
  2. Develop and implement forward planning strategies to ensure timely delivery and minimize delays.
  3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales and customer service teams, to identify freight solutions that meet customer needs.
  4. Mitigate risks and optimize spending by negotiating with suppliers and carriers to secure the best rates.
  5. Ensure compliance with global agreements, regulations, and company policies related to logistics and transportation.
  6. Handle customer inquiries and track shipments to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  7. Prepare and share inbound shipment reports to provide visibility into logistics operations.
  8. Manage customs duty and freight invoices to ensure accurate and timely payment.
  9. Uphold company policies and legal requirements related to logistics and transportation.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role, with a thorough understanding of international (import/export/air/ocean) and domestic (air/road) transport.
  • Strong knowledge of customs and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • SAP experience, ideally S/4HANA, is essential.
