Job Opportunity: Automotive Technician

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a workshop environment maintaining and repairing vehicles and equipment.

  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on light and heavy vehicles or equipment
  • Utilise diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and resolve faults
  • Carry out preventive maintenance to minimise breakdowns and maximise equipment uptime
  • Accurately record maintenance and repair work
  • Complete both scheduled and reactive tasks in a timely, efficient manner
  • Adhere to all safety protocols ensuring a safe working environment

To be successful, you will bring:

  • A relevant mechanical trade qualification (e.g., Light Vehicle, Heavy Vehicle, Diesel Fitter, or Plant Mechanic)
  • Experience servicing and repairing vehicles or equipment in a workshop environment
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • A proactive approach to completing tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Flexibility to work overtime when required
  • A White Card and HR licence are highly regarded
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and police clearance
