Key Responsibilities- Deliver Evidence-Based Care: Provide safe and effective care to patients undergoing anaesthetic procedures, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Liaise with the Multidisciplinary Team: Collaborate with anaesthetists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Ensure Patient and Staff Safety: Identify and mitigate potential risks, promoting a safe working environment for patients and staff.
- Deliver Education and Support: Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to manage their health journey effectively.
- Supervise and Direct Nursing Team Members: Mentor and guide ENs and AINs to deliver high-quality patient care, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Lead Quality Improvement Initiatives: Develop and implement quality improvement projects to enhance patient care and safety, driving continuous improvement within our team.

About You- Current AHPRA Registration: Hold current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- Experience in Anaesthetics/PACU Nursing: Possess at least 2 years' experience in anaesthetics/PACU nursing, with a strong background in one of the following specialties: Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, Spinal, Urology, or ENT surgery.
- Compliance with ACQSHC National Standards: Demonstrate compliance with the Australian Commission on Quality and Safety in Health Care's national standards.
- Strong Clinical Decision-Making Skills: Possess sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
