At Monadelphous, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our Heavy Lift division in Victoria Park, WA. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll play a pivotal role in planning and executing heavy lift and haul work scopes across various projects.

This is a challenging and dynamic role that requires excellent interpersonal skills, technical expertise, and a solution-focused approach. You'll work closely with our project manager to provide technical support, develop innovative problem-solving solutions, and manage discreet work scopes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting internal and external projects with strong technical support to identify the best methodologies for safely delivering solutions
  • Managing work scopes such as introducing new cranes into our fleet and overhauling existing cranes
  • Developing Lift/Transport Studies, Workpacks, Drawings, and Calculations as required
  • Undertaking ad-hoc site travel to support project planning and execution
  • Providing technical support on Australian Standards, Legislation, and Codes of Practice
  • Assisting in the development of procedures for Lift/Shift Operations and Specialised Equipment
  • Developing project schedules and working closely with Operational and Maintenance Teams to execute scopes of work
  • Working closely with stakeholders across all aspects of Tendering, Project Planning, Execution, and HSE
  • Managing work scope, schedule, and budgets where required
  • Managing relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • An engineering qualification, preferably degree level in Mechanical/Civil/Structural Engineering
  • AutoCAD experience
  • Experience working with mobile/crawler cranes and/or SPMTs
  • Previous experience in the Heavy Lift or Construction industry (ideally site-based)
  • A driver's license
