At Greencross Vets, we are committed to providing exceptional training and development opportunities for our team members. Our Small Animal Surgery Internship is designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience for veterinary graduates or experienced veterinarians looking to enhance their skills in small animal surgery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist our experienced small animal surgical specialists in daily rounds and procedures
- Participate in weekly journal club or case presentations to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in small animal surgery
- Develop your skills in surgical techniques, patient care, and communication with clients
- Work towards completion of the ANZCVS small animal surgery membership examination (if eligible)
Requirements:
- Eligibility for veterinary registration in QLD
- Current radiation licence
- Excellent communication skills and work ethic
- Strong knowledge base in small animal surgery
What We Offer:
- A 12-month internship with the option to extend to 18 months
- 4 weeks of annual leave and 1 week of study leave with a CE allowance
- Opportunities to work at our other sites during the internship
- A supportive and friendly team environment
