The role of Product Development Assistant involves driving the creation and launch of new products that meet customer needs.
- Style production: Develop and coordinate style specifications, ensuring timely delivery of product designs to suppliers.
- Production and shipping schedules: Manage timelines for receiving raw materials, producing finished goods, and shipping them to customers.
- Lab dips, trims, strikes offs, and bulk fabrics: Approve samples of fabric, trim, and other materials used in product development.
This position requires a graduate degree or qualification in Fashion, Textiles, or Production. The ideal candidate will have expertise in garment construction, measurement, composition, fabrics, and fiber knowledge.
The successful applicant will be highly organized, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Illustrator is required. Effective communication and teamwork are also essential for success in this role.
