The Opportunity

As a Caregiver in Aged Care, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of residents, each with their unique stories and experiences. You'll provide personalized support and care, empowering them to live with dignity and independence.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide respectful and tailored support to residents, promoting their independence and autonomy
  • Monitor residents' needs and preferences, escalating any changes to ensure their well-being
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, grooming, and oral care
  • Offer social and emotional support, creating meaningful connections with residents
  • Keep residents mobile, assist with mealtimes, and engage them in lifestyle activities
  • Document incidents and care, participating in Work Health and Safety programs
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver outstanding service and make a positive impact in our community

Requirements

  • A true passion for caring for others, with a commitment to holistic care
  • A caring credential, such as a Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Nursing, or related health/care studies
  • Prior experience as a personal carer in aged care is a plus, but we'll provide training for the right candidate
