Rehabilitation Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team at the Oakey Army Aviation Centre. As a key member of our team, you will provide holistic care to ADF personnel who have suffered from injury, illness, or trauma.

This role involves working with motivated clients to develop, implement, and monitor their rehabilitation plans, while having onsite access to medical and treatment providers for additional direct support.

You will be working with clients primarily based in the Oakey area, with some travel required to support clients across the region. A pool car is available.

Key Responsibilities

• Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ASORC, ESSA)
• Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, or Physiotherapy
• Strong clinical reasoning
• Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal
• Experience in conducting various clinical assessments
• Passion to help people rehabilitate
