About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Specialist to help further accelerate our growth.

  • Possess an uncompromising attitude to health and safety within the workplace.
  • Be responsible for the assembly, test and commissioning of new production build machines (3D Metal Printers), major assemblies and sub-assembly products.
  • Provide regular feedback into the operations team with reports highlighting information about quality, BOM, assembly-related issues, product enhancement and safety compliance.
  • Conduct product validation and potentially commissioning at the end of each production machine build.
  • Carry out concessional modifications to the machines where required.
  • Offer technical support and training where requested for manufacturing, service engineers and agents.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Health and Safety: Maintain a safe working environment adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  2. Assembly and Testing: Oversee the assembly, testing, and commissioning of new production build machines.
  3. Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.
  4. Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on equipment as needed.
  5. Training and Support: Provide technical guidance and training to colleagues as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Background in machine tools, special-purpose machinery building or like industry.
  • Trade certificate of proficiency (Fitter & Turner / lab technician / Electrical mechanic /other).
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
  • Ability and enthusiasm to perform hands-on mechanical and basic electrical tasks as required.
  • Strong attention to detail and methodical work style.
  • Proven root cause analysis and problem-solving.
