About the Role

This exciting opportunity has arisen in our Sydney office for a casual Paralegal to work in our Government & Administrative Law team. You'll be part of a team acting for Commonwealth Departments and Agencies in Public Law litigation. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of tribunal and court documents
  • Summarizing medical and other records
  • Preparation and review of summonses
  • Drafting letters of instructions to experts and briefs to investigators
  • Drafting and collating briefs to Counsel
  • Preparing chronologies
  • Legal research and summaries
  • General paralegal duties
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have at least 12 months of paralegal experience and a genuine interest in developing in the public law space. You'll need outstanding written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and excellent organizational skills.
