Job Opportunity

We are seeking a senior registered nurse to fill a temporary assistant director of nursing role through agency placement.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nursing leader to step into a pivotal role in a supportive and community-focused regional health service.

  • Provide senior nursing leadership and operational oversight
  • Support clinical divisions and act as a resource for staff
  • Promote excellence in patient care aligned with our values: wisdom, courage, and compassion
  • Ensure compliance with clinical governance and safety standards
Key Responsibilities:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia (AHPRA)
  • Proven leadership and management experience in a clinical setting
  • Advanced understanding of clinical nursing and clinical risk management
  • Strong knowledge of the NSQHS Standards
  • Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and interpersonal
  • Strong ICT proficiency
  • Availability for a flexible roster including nights and weekends
