Central Coast Council is seeking a School-Based Trainee to join our Education and Care team at the Terrigal Children's Centre. This is a temporary part-time role that offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the education and care sector while completing your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

Essential Criteria
  • Be an Australian citizen or granted permanent residency status
  • Be starting Year 11 in 2025 and wish to complete the Certificate III as part of your HSC
  • Be willing to obtain a working with children check if over 18 years of age
Other Important Information
  • The salary for the School-Based traineeship is $15.74 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation plus allowances
  • This is a temporary part-time role
  • This role is located at the Terrigal Children's Centre
  • Applicants may be required to undertake a course of vaccinations against Hepatitis A and B, Tetanus (Boostrix), MMR, and Varicella or demonstrate their immunity
