Speech Pathologist Wanted in East Melbourne

We are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team in East Melbourne, with a flexible and autonomous role that offers opportunities for professional growth and development.

About the Role

The successful applicant will work independently with clients across NDIS and non-NDIS populations, conducting evidence-based assessment and therapeutic intervention.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing personalized treatment plans for clients with diverse needs.
    • Providing high-quality therapeutic interventions, including individual and group sessions, to promote effective communication and swallowing skills.
    • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal outcomes for clients.
    • Managing client files, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely communication with stakeholders.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualifications:
    • Relevant qualification in Speech Pathology, with a strong understanding of evidence-based practices.
  • Skills and Experience:
    • Proven experience working with clients across NDIS and non-NDIS populations, with a focus on assessment, intervention, and case management.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple clients and projects.
