Caregiving Opportunity

We are seeking a Personal Care Assistant to join our team at St Josephs, Coffs Harbour.

This is a rewarding role that offers the chance to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our elderly clients.

About the Role

  • Job Summary: Assist with personal care and daily living activities for our residents in a home-like environment.
  • Key Responsibilities: Provide assistance with showering and dressing, support day-to-day tasks such as eating and social activities, work with clinical team members to ensure care plans are followed, maintain documentation, and provide high-quality service to families and the community.

About You

  • Requirements: A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly, comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people, good communication skills, reliable team player, understanding of workplace health and safety, Certificate 3 in Aged Care (or equivalent), and willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance.
