Carpentry Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated carpenter to undertake various projects.

About the Role:

  • Prepare layouts based on architect drawn designs.
  • Follow architects' drawings and specifications.
  • Determine materials, dimensions, and installation procedures.
  • Select and order materials.
  • Experience in landscape carpentry projects such as fencing, decking, constructing retaining walls and garden edging, patios and shade structures, concrete formwork, and building children's playground equipment, bollards, balustrades, and stairs.
  • Knowledge and experience utilizing different timber joints.
  • Work to a high standard expected by clients.
  • Work safely on site and understand WHS management systems.
  • Perform quality control and maintenance of equipment.

Requirements:

  • Hold a minimum diploma in construction or related field.
  • Mandatory minimum 2 years experience as a carpenter.
  • Possess high attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
  • Experience working with circular saws, drop saws, reciprocating saws, hammer drills, sanders, nail guns.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Good team player.
  • Hold a construction white card, valid driver's license, and operational vehicle.
