About the Role:
This is an exceptional opportunity to join Arcare Aged Care, a leading provider of aged care services, as a Registered Nurse. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Care: Provide comprehensive medical care, including assessing residents' health conditions, monitoring vital signs, and managing medications and treatments.
- Wound Management: Manage and dress wounds, prevent infections, and promote proper wound healing.
- Health Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans based on residents' specific needs and medical conditions.
- Assessment and Documentation: Conduct thorough health assessments, maintain accurate medical records, and document changes in residents' health conditions.
- Pain Management: Address pain concerns and implement pain management strategies.
- Emergency Response: Be prepared to handle medical emergencies and coordinate the response as necessary.
- End-of-Life Care: Provide comfort and support during end-of-life care, including palliative care.
Requirements:
- Current AHPRA Registration.
- Knowledge of Aged Care accreditation standards.
- Adaptable, passionate, and willingness to learn.
- Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
- Friendly and effective communication abilities.
