About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pediatrician to join our team at JPS Medical Recruitment. As a Pediatrician, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to children and adolescents in our hospital's general pediatric and neonatal units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient care to children and adolescents in our general pediatric and neonatal units.
  • Offer routine and emergency after-hours care on a rotating roster.
  • Conduct general pediatric outpatient clinics.
  • Participate in providing specialist pediatric outreach services to regional hospitals and remote communities.

Requirements

  • Eligible for general registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • A minimum of 3 years pediatric experience incorporating inpatient and outpatient care.
  • Or senior medical experience as a general practice or emergency trainee with particular interest in pediatrics.
  • A demonstrated interest in and commitment to improving Indigenous child health.
