This full-time role offers a unique opportunity to shape the digital future of a purpose-driven organisation. As our operations grow, we are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Senior IT Specialist / IT Manager to lead the development of our internal IT capabilities.
About the Role:
You will work closely with the leadership team and operational staff to design, develop, and launch scalable digital solutions — including the creation of a purpose-built app to integrate health care and home care services.
You will establish our internal IT function, make strategic recommendations for future growth, and ensure our systems are secure, efficient, and compliant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and launch of an integrated client-facing app to connect and streamline health and home care services.
- Evaluate and improve existing IT systems, infrastructure, and digital processes across the business.
- Develop and implement an IT roadmap that aligns with organisational goals and future expansion.
- Manage onsite IT support, assets, systems access, and staff training across multiple sites.
- Oversee procurement and implementation of core platforms (CRM, LMS, client records, appointment systems).
- Ensure cyber security, data privacy, and compliance with aged care and healthcare regulatory frameworks.
- Engage and manage third-party vendors or developers when necessary.
- Provide technical leadership and clear communication to stakeholders at all levels.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong experience in a senior IT role (e.g. IT Manager, Systems Lead, Digital Transformation Lead), preferably in health or community services.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to deliver custom digital solutions or app-based platforms.
- Sound knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud systems, and cyber security.
- Familiarity with aged care, healthcare software, or government-funded service systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work onsite and travel to various locations as required.
