About Our Production Team

We are seeking a junior/trainee to join our production team. You will be provided with on the job training to use the computer / laser CNC cutting machine.

This position is for an immediate start. Our company has over 30 years of industry experience and a fully equipped factory, manufacturing duct and stainless steel products.

The role involves operating and monitoring CNC Laser Cutting machine, performing routine maintenance, maintaining a clean working environment, managing raw materials, handling materials, completing adhoc tasks, reading and working with technical drawings, managing priorities efficiently, paying attention to detail and following quality procedures, collaborating with employees and management, and adhering to OH&S Requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating and monitoring CNC Laser Cutting machine
  • Performing routine maintenance and maintaining a clean working environment
  • Managing raw materials and handling materials
  • Completing adhoc tasks as directed by Production Manager
  • Reading and working with technical drawings
  • Managing priorities efficiently and paying attention to detail
  • Collaborating with employees and management and adhering to OH&S Requirements

About You

We are looking for someone with no experience required, but background in trade or manufacturing industry desirable. You should be willing to learn, available for a morning shift (from 6:00am) Monday to Friday, have physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift metal objects if required, and able to work in a factory environment, be safety focused and adhere to all WH&S policies and procedures.
