The successful candidate will have experience working in an aged care environment and possess excellent clinical skills, interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality care to residents, promoting independence and activity
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive environment
- Lead and supervise teams of people, demonstrating strong leadership skills
- Develop and implement person-centred care plans, ensuring residents' needs are met
- Provide education and training to staff, promoting best practice and continuous improvement
Young is a vibrant rural service centre with a strong sense of community. The town offers a range of amenities, including shopping, employment opportunities, and sporting facilities.
Requirements- Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Division 1
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent clinical skill base and knowledge of legislation within Aged Care
- Experience in leading and supervising teams of people
- Demonstrated understanding of person-centred care and ability to work in a team environment
- Provide a valid NDIS clearance check
- Proof of vaccination status consistent with public health orders
