
Visionary Early Childhood Leader

This senior leadership role plays a vital part in shaping the educational programs at our organisation, fostering a love of learning in children and helping them thrive.
As a Lead Educator and 2IC, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality educational programs aligned with relevant standards and regulations. This involves planning, implementing, and evaluating programs to ensure they meet the needs of our children and families.
Key responsibilities include:
- Program Planning and Delivery: Design and deliver educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of our children, incorporating the EYLF and QKLG frameworks.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and the community, promoting a sense of belonging and connection.
- Learning Environment: Create inclusive, safe, and engaging learning environments that support the social, emotional, and cognitive development of our children.
- Mentorship and Guidance: Guide and mentor educators to deliver best practice in early childhood education, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Compliance and Safety: Act as Responsible Person, ensuring compliance with legislation and policies related to child safety and wellbeing.
- Team Support: Collaborate with the Director to provide daily operational support and mentor educators to achieve their full potential.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Degree or Higher in Early Childhood Education: A qualification in early childhood education and care, such as a Diploma or higher.
- Child Protection: Completion of the Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk CHCPRT025 course.
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a leadership role within an early childhood setting.
- Regulatory Knowledge: A deep understanding of national regulatory frameworks, including the NQF and EYLF.
- Certifications: Current certifications in Blue Card, First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis.
- Passion for Leadership: A genuine passion for leading teams and supporting children to thrive.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and relationship-building skills, enabling you to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
