Job Title: Food and Beverage Attendant

About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch service to our guests, ensuring their experience is nothing short of memorable.

You will play a vital role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making every guest feel valued and appreciated.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and Seat Guests: Welcome guests warmly, assist with seating arrangements, and provide them with menus.
  • Take Orders: Knowledgeably describe menu items, answer questions, and take orders accurately, noting any special requests or dietary restrictions.
  • Serve Food and Beverages: Deliver food and drinks promptly and ensure they are presented according to standard.
  • Check on Guests: Regularly check in with diners to ensure they have everything they need and address any concerns.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the area clean and well-organised, including clearing tables, resetting, and restocking.
  • Collaborate with Kitchen Team: Communicate orders to the kitchen and ensure that food is prepared correctly and delivered promptly.
  • Handle Payments: Present bills to guests, process payments accurately.
  • Upsell and Promote: Suggest additional menu items, specials, or beverages to enhance the guests' experience.
  • Handle Guest Requests: Address special requests and accommodate guests' needs to the best of your ability.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Previous Experience: Relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Proven Knowledge: Proven knowledge of food and beverage items, including wine and cocktails (training will be provided).
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.
