This role will see you lead and coordinate interactions with government agencies, departments, and regulators.

You will work closely with stakeholders to maintain good governance across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of ARPANS Act, Regulations, and guidance, as well as applicable Work Health and Safety and Environmental regulatory requirements.

The Regulatory Affairs Governance Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Designing, implementing, and continuously improving a governance model that supports compliance with relevant regulatory obligations.
  • Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date compliance register in alignment with ANSTO's enterprise-wide compliance framework.
  • Working closely with stakeholders to ensure oversight of all regulatory matters.
  • Supporting business units in preparing regulatory submissions.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with external regulators.
