About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Practitioner to join our Family Preservation team at Anglicare Victoria. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting vulnerable families and individuals to achieve positive outcomes.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in social work, psychology, or a related field, with experience in leading teams and providing secondary case consults. You will be able to reflect on practice, identify gaps in service delivery, and provide coaching and feedback to team members.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with families with complex needs, mental health, AOD, and family violence. You will be able to engage quickly and assess risk, and be willing to work outside of normal hours to see families together and at home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with DFFH and monitor risk and safety plans
  • Identify performance trends and areas for improvement
  • Provide coaching and feedback to team members
  • Work with families to develop and implement individualized plans
  • Collaborate with other agencies and services to ensure comprehensive support
