This position offers a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys sharing knowledge and helping others succeed to take on a technical leadership role with a strong focus on operations and maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have a trade qualification in mechanical discipline relevant to the water industry, substantial experience in instrument, electrical or mechanical trades, and relevant supervisory experience.

The role involves:

  • Ensuring a safe working environment in line with OSH legislation
  • Providing technical leadership and support across fault finding, shutdown coordination, compliance, and training
  • Overseeing daily maintenance activities to maximise asset performance and safety
  • Managing contractors and work schedules, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
  • Supporting operational integration and change management, maintaining accurate records and documentation, contributing to asset maintenance planning

To be considered, you will require a strong understanding of mechanical disciplines and substantial experience in a complex process industry and operations and maintenance environment. A current 'C' Class Drivers Licence is also required.
