Job Title:

Community Services Field Placement Assessor

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Community Services Field Placement Assessor. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing student placements in community services settings, providing support and feedback to ensure successful completion of programs, and monitoring student progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspire and deliver assigned programs using your extensive knowledge and skills.
  • Provide support and feedback to students to ensure successful completion of programs.
  • Monitor student assessments and provide constructive feedback.
  • Plan, review, and improve training and assessment processes.
  • Participate in assessment validation, moderation, and continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Current experience in the mental health and community service industries (preferably 2+ years full-time post-qualification).
  • A relevant vocational qualification at the degree or diploma level in community services/social work/mental health.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent).
  • Current Working with Children Check and Police Check.
  • Own transportation.
  • Medical certificate or document of flu vaccination (if required by host organizations).
