Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Swim Instructor to join our team as a Learn to Swim Instructor. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality swimming lessons to students of all ages, promoting water safety awareness, and building their swimming capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert instruction in swimming techniques, focusing on water safety awareness and skill development.
  • Teach Learn to Swim classes to students of varying age groups, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment.
  • Promote physical activity and healthy lifestyles through engaging swim lessons.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement.
  • Collaborate with other instructors and council staff to ensure seamless program delivery.

Requirements

  • Austswim Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety or equivalent qualification.
  • Current CPR Certificate and Working with Children Check.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Passion for teaching swimming and water safety.

Benefits

  • A competitive salary of $56,839 per annum (pro-rata) plus 11.5% superannuation.
  • Part-time opportunities available, from 6 hours per week, with potential to increase hours as needed.
