Regional Dietician Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Dietician to join our team at Flinders And Upper North Local Health Network. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and assessing tailored services that meet the unique needs of our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement evidence-based nutrition and dietetics programs to promote healthy lifestyles and prevent chronic diseases.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, community groups, and stakeholders to identify and address nutrition-related health issues.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to less experienced allied health professionals, assistants, and students.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to ensure the effectiveness of nutrition and dietetics programs.
Requirements
  • Recognised qualification in a relevant Allied Health Profession.
  • Eligibility for practicing membership of the relevant Professional Association.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
