The Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Officer to join our team at our Laverton North site. As a key member of our site operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining site grounds, equipment, and office buildings. This is a hands-on role that requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain site grounds, including gardening, landscaping, and lawn maintenance
  • Perform equipment maintenance, including oxy and arc welding, pump and hose repairs, and effluent treatment
  • Conduct plumbing repairs and maintenance, including rack repairs and concrete work
  • Perform minor electrical repairs and preventive maintenance tasks
  • Keep the site clean and clear of debris, using a ride-on sweeper as needed
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a maintenance or renovations role for a large site
  • Oxy and arc welding experience
  • A current Australian forklift license (EWP desirable)
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects
  • Basic computer skills and excellent time management ability
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
