Job Title: Undergraduate Automotive Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Undergraduate Automotive Engineer to join our team at ABMARC. As an Undergraduate Automotive Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting our vehicle test team in executing vehicle test programs, preparing and setting up equipment, and maintaining test equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, set up, and pack up equipment, and kit/de-kit vehicles for vehicle test programs.
  • Assist with maintaining test equipment.
  • Support the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) team in executing vehicle test programs, which may include operating test equipment, recording and producing video test records using various devices, including drones, and assisting in the preparation of test reports, data analysis, tracking issues, and ensuring resolutions.
Requirements:
  • Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident or have valid working rights.
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate diploma/degree, and in the second or third year of your course.
  • Hold a valid Driver's License and have access to your own vehicle.
  • Availability of 15-30 hours per week, including afternoon, weekend or night shifts.
  • Must provide an Academic Transcript.
