Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Solutions Developer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform suite.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business requirements, design scalable and user-friendly applications, and automate workflows to enhance efficiency within the organization.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand and map business processes, identifying key areas for optimization and improvement.
  • Translating business requirements into clear specifications, user stories, and features.
  • Developing and customizing Power Apps to create intuitive and responsive user interfaces.
  • Building and optimizing Power Automate workflows to automate business processes and improve overall efficiency.
  • Integrating Power Apps and Power Automate with external systems and data sources using connectors and APIs.
  • Developing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Power BI to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Conducting thorough testing and debugging of Power Platform solutions to ensure performance, quality, and reliability.
  • Helping to design data models and assist with database design within the Power Platform environment, specifically with Dataverse.
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance for Power Platform solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in Microsoft technology and experience in building scalable, resilient, and secured applications using Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft Azure.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing applications using Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and Dataverse.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working in collaborative teams in an agile manner in a commercial environment.
  • Experience working with testing methodologies, testing tools, and CI/CD.
  • Exposure to Power Platform environment setup, configuration, and management.
  • Exposure to Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Exposure to website/web application development using Power Pages or similar technology.
