Key Challenges and Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, you will lead and deliver projects across various sectors, including civil infrastructure, waste management, water engineering, and mining. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping and delivering these projects, which may involve landfill design, engineered containment systems, geosynthetic applications, resource recovery solutions, dam engineering, earth structures, repair works, waste water management ponds, tailings management facilities, complex liner systems, and ground engineering.

Project Delivery Focus

  • Lead high-profile projects with a focus on innovative waste management solutions.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for water infrastructure development, including dam engineering and repair works.
  • Contribute to the delivery of mining projects, particularly in tailings management and complex liner systems.
  • Provide expert advice on ground engineering, including slope stabilisation and rehabilitation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Possess a tertiary qualification in Civil, Geotechnical, or Environmental Engineering.
  • Have over 7 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Demonstrate strong detailed design capabilities.
  • Show extensive experience in delivering high-quality, detailed design documentation.
  • Demonstrate deep technical expertise in waste management.
  • Be able to assess and design for subsurface environmental risks.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and contribute to multidisciplinary project teams.
