Job Overview

This is a high-impact role for an accomplished Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to lead the delivery of application modernization and cloud landing zones for clients in APAC.

The successful candidate will act as a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) subject matter expert, providing technical guidance on solutions design, governance, security, operations, and cost control best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build cloud-based infrastructures and landing zones for customers
  • Assist with the creation of infrastructure architectures and technical documentation
  • Implement secure cloud foundational implementations
  • Automated provisioning of infrastructure and applications
  • Develop cloud-ready applications architecture
  • Deliver end-to-end cloud-based infrastructure management solutions
  • Present infrastructure modernization strategies to senior executives
  • Improve monitoring, logging, and observability in client environments
  • Define and implement cloud infrastructure governance and deployment standards
Requirements
  • Expert knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, and its infrastructure offerings
  • Experience with architecting and implementing Landing Zones
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development, preferably with Terraform
  • Experience with virtualization: servers, storage, networks
  • Experience in networking, identity management, virtualization
  • Experience with Data Centre exit strategies
  • GCP certifications or willingness to become certified
