Senior Environmental Approvals Strategist

This is a key opportunity to lead the delivery of complex environmental impact assessments for major infrastructure projects.
You will manage multidisciplinary teams and guide projects within tight timelines, regulatory frameworks, and budgets.
Main Responsibilities- Developing and delivering large-scale environmental approval projects.
- Leading project interfaces with clients and regulators.
- Providing technical direction and growth opportunities to junior team members.
- Contributing to business development activities, including bid preparation and client engagement.
- Tertiary qualifications in environmental science, engineering, planning, or law.
- 10+ years industry experience in environmental approvals, preferably in consulting or government.
- Experience in environmental impact assessment, including EES and/or other statutory approval processes in major transport, water infrastructure, and renewable energy projects.
- Advanced knowledge of Victorian and Commonwealth statutory requirements, enabling effective solutions delivery.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in coordinating multiple work streams and communicating with internal stakeholders, clients, and regulators.
