The Role

As an Insurance Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting the daily operations of a busy site. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supervision and Coordination: Supervise and coordinate trades, site personnel, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Procurement and Logistics: Procure materials and contractors in accordance with the scope of work and create and issue purchase orders as required.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Document site activity, report on damages, and ensure compliance with WHS procedures.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality audits to ensure all works are completed in accordance with the National Construction Codes.
  • Project Management: Manage works within budget, generate variations as required, and reconcile PC/PS adjustments.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Trade or Tertiary Qualification: Be trade or tertiary qualified in Carpentry/Joinery.
  • Setting Out Experience: Have experience with setting out and compliance with WHS procedures.
  • Communication Skills: Possess high communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Travel Requirements: Be willing to travel out of your home area to assist with peak workload and CAT events.
