Role Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Support Worker to join our team in the Proserpine/Whitsunday Region. As an In Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect to earn $36.55 per hour, with additional benefits including paid travel time between clients and access to NFP salary packaging to increase their take-home pay.

About the Role

As an In Home Support Worker, your primary responsibility will be to provide personalized care and support to our clients, following their tailored care plans. This may involve domestic duties such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation, as well as supporting tasks like shopping and transport.

You will work collaboratively with our care team to deliver holistic care that addresses every aspect of our clients' needs.

To be successful in this role, you will possess a warm and caring nature, a genuine interest in helping others live their best lives, and a positive attitude towards health and wellbeing. You will also need to have the flexibility to work a varied roster.

Requirements
  • Current Police Screening Certificate
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) and Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
  • A reliable roadworthy vehicle, with current registration and comprehensive insurance
  • Current Queensland driver's licence
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
  • Proof of immunity, or willingness to become vaccinated against, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Hepatitis B, Varicella (Chicken Pox) & Pertussis (Whooping Cough).
  • Good computer & mobile device skills
  • Previous experience in a similar role
