Job Description

The successful candidate will lead the development and growth of Application Security teams, ensuring a proactive approach to embedding security into software development lifecycles. They will foster a culture of security enablement, where developers feel supported in building secure products.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing Application Security roadmaps, aligning with engineering strategies.
  • Leading, developing, and growing high-performing teams through coaching, mentorship, and ensuring team alignment.
  • Providing technical oversight and mentorship, ensuring application security risks are well-understood, prioritised, and mitigated effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Strong leadership skills, demonstrating honesty and integrity.
  • Experience in securing modern software applications, with knowledge of secure coding practices and DevSecOps methodologies.
  • Deep understanding of security tooling, including SAST, DAST, SCA, and security automation within CI/CD pipelines.
