We are seeking a highly skilled Submarine Program Mobilisation Specialist to support the planning and execution of workforce mobilisation plans within our complex operating environment.

About the Opportunity

This role involves combining expertise in People and Culture with project coordination to ensure seamless transition of the workforce into the new SSN AUKUS Build Program. You will support the development and implementation of workforce mobilisation plans, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Project managing workforce mobilisation artefacts and deliverables, including collaboration with subject matter experts from the broader People & Culture function.
  • Providing advice on the implementation of mobilisation strategies to ensure employees are aligned with program objectives.
  • Assisting in workforce planning, training, and engagement while ensuring workforce risk assessments are conducted in accordance with governance requirements.
  • Supporting advisory functions for internal and external stakeholders, including joint partners, on workforce matters aligned to required timelines and quality.

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a similar discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience across complex P&C roles, preferably in Defence Industry or related sectors.
  • Experience in supporting the mobilisation of new programs and knowledge in workforce planning.
  • Effective project management skills, including the ability to manage evolving priorities and time management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as innovative and strategic thinking.

Eligibility
