Supply Chain Packaging Specialist

This role requires collaboration with leading brands and brand teams to ensure packaging compliance. The ideal candidate will create and control packaging specifications, guaranteeing a seamless flow of information throughout the process.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure packaging meets end-to-end distribution and logistics requirements.
  • Liaise with sustainable packaging specialists to implement sustainable packaging programs.
  • Provide expert packaging advice to internal teams in areas of grocery, pharmacy, and export.
  • Maintain close relationships with marketing, warehouse, and distribution supervisors and management.
  • Collaborate with quality and technical staff and supply planners.

Requirements:

  • Experience creating packaging specifications for goods sold into grocery and/or pharmacy channels in Australia.
  • In-depth knowledge of current packaging trends and solutions.
  • Understanding of initiating new products into existing warehouse and distribution systems.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
