We are seeking a skilled Senior Mobile Engineer to join our mobile development team. Located in our central Sydney office, you will be part of a small team that strives to implement best practices for development, testing and agile project delivery.
The Role:
As a Senior Mobile Engineer, you will support and develop new functionality for our ERM (Enterprise Risk Management) mobile application. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define, design, and ship new features. Your responsibilities will include writing clean, well-documented, and testable code, collaborating on code reviews and providing constructive feedback, troubleshooting and debugging complex issues, optimizing application performance and user experience, and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in mobile development. Additionally, you will contribute to improving our development processes and best practices, integrating with backend APIs and third-party services, and working with native modules when necessary.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum 5 years' experience developing mobile applications with React Native, strong understanding of JavaScript, including ES6+ syntax and asynchronous programming, solid understanding of React fundamentals and component lifecycle, experience with state management libraries like Redux, MobX, or Context API, and experience with native mobile development (iOS or Android). You should also have excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, strong communication and collaboration skills, and experience with performance optimization techniques for mobile applications.

Understanding of risk management is also beneficial.
