Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Behavioural Support Specialist to join our team at Activated Concepts. The ideal candidate will have a background in behaviour support, psychology, social work, disability, mental health, or related fields.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting psychosocial and functional behaviour assessments, developing effective PBS plans, and implementing evidence-based strategies that promote independence and well-being.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant qualification in Behavioural Science, Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, or a related discipline.
  • Registration (or willingness to obtain) as an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner (Core or above).
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check & NSW Working with Children Check
  • NDIS Orientation Certificate & OCG Child Safe Training

In addition to the required qualifications and skills, we are looking for someone who is passionate about trauma-informed, person-centred practice and has excellent communication skills.
