About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our team at Evolve Scientific. As a key member of our quality team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance in our cheese processing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and resolve non-conformances and customer complaints, conducting root cause analysis to identify and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain quality reports and documentation, tracking and trending key performance indicators.
  • Manage product specifications, packaging information, and artwork approvals, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the QA team and act as a key support to the Quality Manager, providing guidance and oversight to junior team members.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring our operations meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
  • Conduct HACCP reviews, risk assessments, and validation and verification programs to ensure our processes are robust and effective.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Food Science or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience in a supervisor or coordinator role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and FSANZ regulations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
