Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled leader to join our team in teaching religious education.

About the Position

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in religious education, be confident in leading and managing staff, and have experience in implementing sound pedagogical practices to create engaging learning environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage staff in religious education to ensure high-quality teaching and learning outcomes.
  • Implement evidence-based pedagogical practices to enhance student engagement and motivation.
  • Analyse and reflect on student learning data to inform teaching practices and promote growth for all students.
  • Manage and facilitate safe and supportive learning environments that cater to diverse student needs.
  • Promote assessment practice, data analysis, and feedback to enhance student learning and achievement.

Requirements

  • Suitably qualified to teach religious education with a strong understanding of the curriculum.
  • Experience in leading and managing staff, with a proven track record of success.
  • Confident in using technology to enhance student learning and engagement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic professional learning community.
