About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate General Practitioner to join our team at EACH Victoria. As a General Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality medical and nursing services to our clients in the outer east region of Melbourne.

As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with our Refugee Health Program, Registered Nurses, and allied health professionals to provide comprehensive care to our clients. Your expertise in sexual and reproductive health will be invaluable in supporting our clients' unique needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical expertise in the delivery of sexual and reproductive health care to vulnerable groups
  • Work collaboratively with our team to coordinate the sexual and reproductive health needs of our clients
  • Contribute to a multidisciplinary model of care aimed at maximising health outcomes for our clients
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients, colleagues, and community partners
Requirements
  • Fully qualified and vocationally registered General Practitioner with a fellowship at the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM)
  • Registration as a medical practitioner with AHPRA
  • Women's Sexual and Reproductive Health certification
  • Medical Indemnity Insurance
  • Experience: 5+ years as a GP with expertise in sexual and reproductive health
  • Skills: Proficient in LARC management and complex pelvic pain
