Job Description

Ignite is seeking a seasoned Test and Commissioning Manager to join our team for a 12-month contract. As a key member of our Automatic Vehicle Monitoring project, you will be responsible for system integration and conducting system-level tests according to defined test plans and documenting test results, defects, and any deviations from expected outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • System integration and testing of complex systems, including operational control systems.
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on system requirements.
  • Execute end-to-end systems integration tests and identify and document defects.
  • Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium and JUnit.
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience in requirement management using Jira/Confluence.
  • Proficient in creating and executing automated test scripts.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools, such as JIRA, TestRail, and Azure DevOps.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certification in software testing, such as ISTQB.
  • Strong background in requirement management and software testing.
  • Experience in systems integration testing and test automation.
  • Proficient in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
What We Offer:
  • 12-month contract with excellent daily/hour rates.
  • Hybrid working arrangement, with 2 days in the Melbourne CBD office and 3 days working from home.
